(Washington, DC) Congressman Dutch Ruppersberger today was unanimously elected the new Chairman of the United States Naval Academy Board of Visitors by his colleagues. Congressman Ruppersberger, a Defense Appropriator, has served on the Board since 2009 and has served as the Board’s Vice Chair since April 2019.

Washington, DC) – Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) today voted in favor of bipartisan legislation improving the Payroll Protection Program (PPP), the loan forgiveness program created for small businesses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 269-147 and now heads to the U.S. Senate for consideration.
