How do I file a claim for compensation or pension benefits?

To file a claim for compensation or pension benefits, please complete VA Form 21-526.  You can submit the completed form to the VA by mail or in person to the Baltimore Regional Office at 31 Hopkins Plaza, Baltimore, Maryland, 21201.

Are you a surviving spouse seeking benefits?

To file a claim for benefits as a surviving spouse, please complete VA Form 21-534a. You can submit the completed form to the VA by mail or in person to the Baltimore Regional Office at 31 Hopkins Plaza, Baltimore, Maryland, 21201.

Are you requesting a claim be expedited?

Claims can only be expedited if you have a financial hardship. Proof of financial hardship is required in the form of an eviction or foreclosure notice, or utility turn-off notice.
