Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger is currently serving his 11th term representing Maryland’s Second District. He is a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, where he fights to make sure Maryland gets its fair share of the pie. Back home in the district, he helps constituents navigate federal agencies and programs including Medicare, Social Security and the VA.
One of the most important jobs I have in Congress is helping my constituents when they are having problems with federal agencies. I'm excited to announce I have launched a new digital Privacy Act release form, in addition to former PAR forms, to further streamline the federal casework process for residents of Maryland's Second District.
In 2023, Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger's office successfully recovered more than $1.6 million in tax dollars for the constituents of Maryland’s Second District. Funds included disability benefits for veterans, Social Security for seniors, tax refunds and more. In all, Congressman Ruppersberger and his team opened 1,994 cases on behalf of constituents and responded to more than 43,000 emails, letters, and calls in 2023.

The deadline for all submissions can be found on our landing page. This deadline gives Congressman Ruppersberger ample time to review and prioritize his requests to the Appropriations Committee.
